As the City Government of Vigan strives to further strengthen its Emergency and Disaster Response among the Barangays, the Vigan City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council led by its Chairperson Mayor Jose “Bonito” Singson Jr. and CPSDRRMO Milagros Alquiza started the turn over of the Barangay Community Service last October 20, 2023.
The said service vehicle is equipped with first aid kits and oxygen tank and was funded through the DRRM Fund.
Furthermore, the CPSDRRMO held a refresher training for first aiding and emergency response among the Barangay DRRM teams of the City to ensure the proper response and operation of the said service.
