Guidelines

May 1, 2017 | Vigan Convention Center

• Open to all choir groups in Region 1
• Competition date will be on May 1, 2017 at the Vigan Conventin Center
• Should be in four voices (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass)
• It may be an all male or all female choral, provided that it will be in four voices
• Competing chorale should provide
• 1 uniform piece in Tagalog ( will be given by organizers)
• 1 show choir piece/contest piece
• Show choir piece maybe a medley of songs (maximim of 3 songs) but should not be more than 2:30 minutes long
• Choreography and props are allowed only during the show choir piece
• Number of participants should have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 members

Interpretation and Style                   15%

Diction                                                  15%

Vocal Technique                                 10%
