CDCs Adopt New Normal Education

In line with the New Normal setting of Education, the City Government of Vigan through the City Social Welfare and Development Office officially marked this year’s academic term by distributing School Kits containing crayons, pad paper, pencil, work book and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Checklist among nine hundred and ninety preschoolers of the city last October 05, 2020.

                “We’re very thankful to the City Government of Vigan led by Mayor Juan Carlo Medina for continuously supporting and ensuring that our preschoolers can still access quality education despite of the pandemic.” Development Service Parents Group President Isabel Acena said.

                The City’s CDC teachers further discussed the importance of the parents and teachers cooperation in times of the new normal education. They also tackled the schedule of module submission as well as the election of new set of officers in every CDC.

                City Social Welfare Officer I Maribel Artienda also highlighted the strict compliance of the minimum health standards particularly during the conduct of the home visit for their students.

                She also encouraged the parents to establish constant communication with their teachers for faster and efficient monitoring of the learners.
