Today, July 9, 2025, the Department of Tourism – Region I, led by OIC-Regional Director Evangeline M. Dadat, together with the delegates of the Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour from the United States, visited the Heritage City of Vigan.

The 147 delegates were warmly welcomed at Hidden Garden by Acting City Mayor Atty. Glendale Benzon and members of the 9th City Council.

From July 8 to 11, the delegates will embark on a meaningful journey across Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur, exploring the region’s rich culinary heritage, spiritual landmarks, adventure sites, and cultural traditions.This visit to Vigan showcases the city’s timeless charm and strengthens its role as a top destination for heritage tourism in Northern Luzon.
