PSU Prime Camp 2025 Brings Global Cultural Exchange to Vigan
Today, July 3, 2025, the Pangasinan State Universityโs Prime Camp: Global and Cultural Exchange Program, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Region I, visits the Heritage City of Vigan.
The visit kicks off with a courtesy call to City Mayor Randy Singson at the Vigan City Hall Lobby, where Mayor Singson, along with City Tourism Officer Edgar Dela Cruz and City Events, Promotion, and Protocol Officer Jo-Anne Margarita Gutierrez, welcomed the 50 international student delegates from neighboring Asian countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and India, along with Filipino students.
The visit aims to promote multicultural understanding and greater appreciation for Region Iโs rich cultural heritage, with Vigan as a key destination.
Following the courtesy call, the delegates were given a guided tour of the city’s cultural landmarks, including the Vigan Museum, Baluarte, and the historic Calle Crisologo.
The city government of Vigan welcomes initiatives like PSU Prime Camp that strengthen regional tourism and international friendships through cultural learning and meaningful exchanges.
