As part of the 2025 Nutrition Month Celebration, the City Government of Vigan, led by City Mayor Randy Singson through the City Health Office and in partnership with Provincial Health Office, conducted the Visit-a-Family (Sugod-Bahay) Nutrition Edition Year II on July 17–19, 2025, across all barangays.

City Nutrition Officer Rizaly Abero, along with PNAO Christie Ferino and Barangay Nutrition Scholars, personally visited families with underweight children to conduct nutrition assessments and one-on-one counseling sessions aimed at improving dietary habits and promoting healthier lifestyles.

In addition, targeted beneficiaries received Go, Glow, and Grow food packs, which included assorted vegetables, fruits, eggs, and rice. A total of 17 families benefited from the program.

The City of Vigan remains steadfast in implementing nutrition initiatives, addressing nutrition-related challenges, and advocating for food and nutrition security for all Bigueños.
