The City Government of Vigan has once again proven its excellence in governance, earning prestigious recognition at the Ilocos Sur Siglat Festival 2025. The city was honored with the Siglat Gobierno Lokal โ Fully Compliant award and the Siglat Sanggunian โ Highly Compliant award, celebrating its strong performance and commitment to good governance throughout the year 2024.
Leading the delegation were city officials headed by City Mayor Randy Singson, represented by Acting Mayor Atty. Glendale Benzon, alongside the members of the 9th City Council through SPM Kisses Agdamag-Lim, SPM Joy Benette Orio, SPM Jay Andia, SPM Karen Baquiran, SPM Nestor Pajaro, SPM Larry Raboy, ABC Vice President Shawn Patrick Singson, and PPSK Vice President Carl Louie Alquetra.
They were joined by former City Councilor and currently Senior Provincial Board Member Janina Medina-Fariรฑas, SP Secretary Jayson Avila, LLSO III Ema Tiburcio, and Record Officer Aloha Jane Queyque.
The awards were personally presented by Governor Jerry Singson, Vice Governor Ryan Singson, and members of the Provincial Board, further underscoring the importance of Viganโs accomplishments.
