The Palafox Associates Inc., through the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), conducted a Sectoral Meeting for the updating of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) and the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) on October 27, 2025, at the Vigan Convention Center.

City Planning and Development Officer Ma. Roxane Villanueva led the facilitation of the meeting together with the environmental planners and architects from Palafox Associates Inc. The activity was attended by City Department Heads, Division Chiefs, representatives from the academe, National Government Agencies (NGAs), Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), media representatives, and barangay officials.

During the meeting, Land Use Policy Areas and Existing Land Use Maps were presented. Participants from different sectors collaborated to formulate a strategic development framework, identifying priority programs and potential development zones that will guide the future growth and sustainability of the City of Vigan.
