On July 29, 2025, the Rotary Club of Vigan, Rotary Club of Makati, and the Ilocos Sur Medical Society (ISMS) extended aid to the families affected by the recent whirlwind in Barangay San Pedro, Vigan City.

Rotary Club of Vigan President Benjie Buen, together with club officers, and ISMS President Dr. Glenda Rabino and fellow members, led the distribution of 100 GI sheets for housing repair, along with survival kits, hot meals, and essential medicines to the 14 affected families.

City Mayor Randy Singson, along with SPM Karen Baquiran, SPM Jay Andia, and Barangay Officials, were also present during the activity.

Mayor Randy Singson expressed his gratitude to the partner organizations for their swift and generous response and bayanihan from non-government organizations like Rotary and ISMS.
