In preparation for the World Heritage Cities Solidarity Cultural Festival 2025, the City Government of Vigan conducted a coordination meeting on the schedule of activities and prize structure for the upcoming celebration on July 29, 2025, at the Vigan Conservation Complex.

City Mayor Randy Singson and Vice Mayor Atty. Glendale Benzon personally led the meeting, together with Committee on Tourism and Heritage Conservation Chairperson SPM Kisses Marquisse Agdamag-Lim, SPM Karen Baquiran, ABC Vice President Enrico Shawn Patrick Singson, PPSK Vice President Carl Louie Alquetra, and City Events Promotion and Protocol Officer Jo-anne Margarita Gutierrez.

Also present were barangay captains, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials, school principals and representatives, attached agencies, and city department heads and division chiefs.

The discussion centered on the lineup of cultural events, which include Repazzo de Vigan, Zarzuela Ilocana, Vocal Chorus, Vocal Solo and Duet, Kinnantaran, Daniw, Dallot, Sabayang Pagbigkas, Historia Oral, and Folk Dance. Participants were grouped into five (5) clusters composed of barangays and schools, and the total accumulated points per cluster will determine the overall ranking.

The meeting also tackled the schedule of activities for the Tourism Week Celebration, which will be held as part of the month-long festivities this coming September 2025.
