On November 13, 2025, the Vigan City Council convened for the deliberation of the proposed 2026 Annual Budget of the City Government of Vigan, held at the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) Hall.

The hearing was presided over by City Vice Mayor Atty. Glendale Benzon, along with the members of the 9th City Council. City Department Heads and Division Chiefs presented their respective budget proposals for the upcoming year.

The proposed total annual budget amounts to P845,582,656.00, reflecting the City’s continued commitment to efficient public service and sustainable development.

During the session, council members and department heads engaged in a thorough discussion and justification of the budget allocations, ensuring alignment with the city’s medium-term development plan and adherence to responsible fiscal management.
