The City Government of Vigan was evaluated for two days for the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) initiated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government in pursuit for excellence in local governance. The SGLG is a recognition of good performance of a province, city and municipal governments in the following areas: Good Financial House Keeping, Disaster Preparedness, Social Protection, Business – Friendliness and Competitiveness, Peace and Order and Environmental Management. The Regional Assessment Team was composed of Mr. Rogelio L. Quitola, Imelda Medrano and Ofelia Genesi who are representatives from the DILG and CSOs
