KATULAGAN: The Vigan Service Guide Book
Being the only UNESCO World Heritage City in the Philippines and one of the New Seven Wonders Cities of the World, indeed, Vigan City has a lot to offer. As part of the 250th Anniversary Celebration of Ciudad Fernandina and the Transfer of the Seat of Nueva Segovia, the City Government of Vigan launched its KATULAGAN: The Vigan Service Guide Book.
This book has been judiciously crafted to facilitate the delivery of services to the citizens of the City and its visitors with specified standards, quality and time frame, as well as the commitment of the officials and employees. Furthermore, the Service Guide Book makes public service clearer, simpler and more transparent to its clients and emphasizes accountability for its personnel.
This guide contains descriptions of the city government services, step-by-step guide on how to avail of each service, how to get to the office concerned, the requirements, the fees, the standard response time for its delivery and the persons responsible for the tasks. It also presents mechanisms for complaints, commendations and suggestions. Most of all, it highlights the administration’s commitment to fulfill its duties and obligations to the people whom it has sworn to serve.
It is a tool that will curb RED TAPE as well as an enabling measure for the City Government Personnel to efficiently deliver the needs of its clients.
Katulagan manifests LGU-Vigan’s commitment to Good Local Governance.
