City Government, Knowledge Channel Foundation provide school supplies to school children

Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization which provided educational TV programs consistent with government prescribed curricula for primary and secondary education in 2008 to 18 public elementary schools in Vigan, returned to the city to distribute school supplies, bags and books to pre-schoolers and Grade 1 to 6 pupils of Nagsangalan Elementary School on July 12, 2010 during the launching of the localized workbooks.
On hand to welcome KCFI President/Executive Director Rina Lopez-Bautista and her staff were Mayor Eva Medina, Vice Mayor Ryan Singson, Councilors Lulu Baquiran, George Villanueva and Loreto Quibilan, ABC President John Patrick Singson and Education Supervisors Ma. Christine Reyes and Anselmo Aludino
Meanwhile, city officials SP Quibilan, Villanueva, Formoso and Baquiran and city employees Edred Piamonte, Catherine Portugal, Bong Gizman, Patrick Manzano, Edward Apelin and Menardo Panela distributed bags and school supplies to all the pupils and students of all public schools in Vigan
