CGV Gives Quick Assistance to its Granular Lockdowns

As initial response of the City Government of Vigan to the affected families under critical zone at Barangay III, the City Social Welfare and Development Office delivered canned goods and 25 kilos of rice to each family last May 20, 2021.

                Over two hundred individuals are under the critical zone and are required to undergo RT-PCR Testing by the City Heath Office to immediately contain the Covid-19 in the said Barangay.

                City Mayor Juan Carlo Medina immediately instructed the City General Services Office to disinfect the area, and the Vigan Public Market to purchase vegetables, meat and other needs of the affected families in the lokcdown areas.

                Meanwhile, the City Public Safety Division and Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office together with the Philippine National Police and the Barangay Council intensified its operations around the area.

                Other parts of the city such as Barangay San Julian Norte and Tamag also experienced granular lockdowns as they continuously record Covid-19 cases.

                ABC Vice President Edmund Supnet gratified the City Government of Vigan for the financial assistance that each barangays received during the implementation of the lockdowns.
