TRADITIONAL INDUSTRIES KEYPLAYERS UNDERTAKES TATAK PINOY VIRTUAL WORKSHOP

As part of the City Government’s goal to further strengthen and uplift the traditional industries of the Office of Senator Sonny Angara and the Synergeia Foundation introduced the Tatak Pinoy program to the keyplayers of the Traditional Industries through a Virtual Workshop last February 25, 2021 at Vigan Culture and Trade Center.

said activity

In the event, various problems and concerns among the City’s loom weavers, pottery makers and souvenir shop owners were identified, which were later on presented with possible plans and solutions.

“The City Government of Vigan is very blessed to have partners such as the Synergeia Foundation and the Office of Sonny Angara for constantly helping the Heritage City of Vigan to face these challenges especially in our local industries amidst the pandemic.” City Mayor Juan Carlo Medina said on his virtual speech.

The Tatak Pinoy Virtual Workshop of Senator Angara is a series of consultations and meetings among the local key players of the city and its various partners that aims to provide more relevant and timely assistance to the local industries to further develop their products and to achieve the global market.
