The City Government of Vigan conducted a First Aid Training for sports coaches and trainers to equip them the knowledge, skills and confidence to apply immediate medical care to their athletes during training and in competition. It is a life-saving techniques that an individual can be trained to perform with minimal equipment.
Certain self-limiting illnesses or minor injuries may not require medical care past the first aid intervention. While it is natural for most of us to rush to support any injured person, a trained person is more reliable, confident and in control of himself and his actions while in trauma situations.
Participants were trained with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Supports (BLS) with bandaging and transport techniques.//emileuropa
