The celebration of National Family Week is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 60 issued on September 18, 1992 which declared the last week of September as National Family Week to promote and strengthen the Filipino family.
This year’s Family Week celebration from September 20 – 26, has the worldwide theme “The Impact of Migration on Families Around the World” while the theme for observing this in the Philippines is “Pamilya ng Migranteng Pilipino, Patatagin at Paunlarin.”
