Part of the weeklong festivities celebrating the World Heritage Cities Solidarity Day was an art exhibit titled Vis-A-Verse mounted from September 8– 12, at the Vigan Culture and Trade Center by Art Ventures@Conspi, UNP-FineArts and Travelling Bonfires.
Aside from paintings, also featured were a series of poems by Arnold Molina Azurin singing paeans to the rural landscape, folk life and historic legacy of Vigan and the Ilocos Region.
Former Governor Carmeling P. Crisologo and Provincial Board Member Jeremias Singson led the ribbon cutting with Mayor Eva dina, Vice Mayor Ryan Singson and members of the City Council.// Henry Anicas
