Seventy three couples received the sacrament of marriage in mass wedding rites last November 30 at the Conversion of St. Paul Cathedral. Unmarried couples were given the chance to legitimize their bond as husband and wife. A simple gathering after the wedding rites was held at the Vigan Youth Center where couples experienced a champagne toast, cake slicing and money dance. Gifts were also given to them.

Barangay and SK officials inducted
Newly elected barangay and SK officials were sworn into office by Mayor Eva Marie S. Medina on November 25 at the Vigan Youth Center. The program started at 5 P.M. with a thanksgiving mass followed by an spiritual oath administered by Msgr. Roque Reyes.

Emergency assistance given to fishermen
As part of the rehabilitation program of the city government to help fishermen increase their income after Typhoon Juan, the city government distributed emergency assistance of tilapia fingerlings and prawn fries to fishermen affected by Typhoon Juan.
